Authorities in Lucknow gear up to fight water-borne diseases ahead of the monsoon season

After heightened corona case tallies during the past two months, infection rates have dipped down sharply in Uttar Pradesh and the state capital, Lucknow. While the second pandemic wave seems to be diffusing out, the threat of upcoming water-borne diseases has surged up, with the arrival of the monsoons. In view of this, the authorities have initiated a statewide campaign to mitigate the possibilities of expected infections like encephalitis & malaria.
