Knocksense: A local content and recommendations platform

Situated at the heart of Lucknow, Hazratganj is one of the most prominent places here. This spot is the ultimate hub of lifestyle stores and diverse markets for you to wander along while soaking in the air of Lakhnavi tehzeeb and shaan!

Cloaked in the charms of its glorious past, Hazratganj has been a witness to divergent cultures over the years. Ganj truly presents a kaleidoscopic vision of art, aesthetics and culture and embodies the razzmatazz of the pluralistic, inclusive and unique traditions of the city.

At the time when British glory was at its peak, Hazratganj area had restricted entries for Indians. At certain hours of the evening, they were not allowed to enter or even lurk around the streets. In case they did, they could only walk along a lane parallel to the main street.

Now after years of evolution and revolutions, Hazratganj has proudly stood the tides of times and how. Ganj houses cultural potpourri like no other spot in the city- originally modelled after London's Queen Street, the Victorian elegance still oozes at every step you take here.

Hazratganj houses the most iconic eateries, shops and markets and honestly, our words can’t allocate justice to the essence of this dynamic vicinity.

Our beloved Ganj is so much more than the cliched yet popular Sharma ki Chai, Royal Cafe, Chedilal shakes and so on! Sitting vividly abuzz at the heart of the city, Hazratganj accommodates more than whatever meets the eyes- on observing closely, you can discern the vibrant life thriving even in the snaking lanes.

A confluence of fluid old-world charm with urbane warps, Ganj sits wreathed in the glory of its past and the charms of a progressive ambience. Hazratganj spells a debonair warmth which stems out of the divergent offerings she has up her sleeves.

Exploring Ganj has revealed to us that there’s a world beyond the cliches which people attach to this spot and it is an exemplary example of how diverse Ganj actually is. We’ve discovered an amalgamation of global convention, tied loosely here at Ganj so keep a watch on our space to know what, when and where!
