Listen up, peeps of K-town! We have something for your Instagram aesthetics and you can thank us later!

In such small cities, a cafe or a restaurant that is different or themed, still largely remains as a niche affair in these areas but this time it is different.

If you’re a movie buff who is into Wes Anderson movies and also an ardent foodie, then you have to experience this culinary episode here at one of the most prominent cafes in Kanpur.

The Pink Zebra by Feast India Company

is a vivid melange of bubblegum pink and Art Nouveau glitz spread over two floors, channeling Wes Anderson’s realism aesthetics of bold colour palettes and symmetry.

The 4,000 sq. ft. space is built in one of the oldest buildings of Kanpur and it features a restro-bar, punctuated with bold black lines, retro-hippie vibes and a partially sunlit terrace manifests the stripes into a zebraish ambiance! This locale has also got this retro concierge desk, flattered by a gold-gilded bar that is no less than a replica of the Grand Budapest Hotel!

Pink isn’t just a colour- it’s an attitude!

So why is this place dipped in pink? It is because pink was the colour of public buildings in the city of ‘Cawnpore’ during the British Raj Period. These buildings are still present within the city’s fabric and it all makes up for the kitschy-chic combination here.

The cuisine here is tagged as ‘progressive Indian’ gastronomy so if you’re wondering what to order, here are a few suggestions.

Baked Chicken Tikka Nachos, Grilled Fish with Lemon Caper Sauce, Keema Takatak Pulao and wash it all down with their zingy Mojito! If you here on a Tuesday, you can avail a special tropical deal which highlights colourful cocktails and speciality dishes.

This make-believe Grand Budapest Hotel is a sight for the sore eyes because while the rest of city is plunged with regular eateries, this place breathes authenticity,
