Though Mansa Sweets and Restaurant has a plethora of options to choose from, the South Indian is good enough to give authentic joints a run for their money. The fact that it is rather affordable and has a great ambience is nothing short of an icing on the cake.

Another classic south Indian restaurant in the city, Rasam is one that will blow you away. Though it is a bit on the expensive side, each dish here is worth it. The Chat

Though the name may have you believe otherwise, The Chat is actually one of Kanpur’s favourite joint for a true-to-its nature South Indian meal. What especially stands out here is their uttapam, which is loaded with onions, tomatoes, chillies (if you want them) and a great amount of black pepper. Apart from that, the vadas are deeply fried and go best with the charismatic flavours of coconut chutney.

Kerala Cafe

Located near IIT Kanpur, Kerala Cafe is one of those places where everything will win your heart over. A welcoming ambience and delectable, authentic South Indian food is what this place is all about and you surely don’t want to miss it. The classic idlis and dosas here are as they should be- flush with subtle flavours that complement the sweet and spicy tangy sambar.

Mumbai's Sion Flyover to remain shut on weekends till January 9, 2022 due to repair work

The Mumbai Traffic Police on Friday announced that the Sion flyover will remain closed every weekend, for the next three months, due to the repair work undertaken by the Maharashtra State Roads Development Corporation (MSRDC). The vehicle shutdown here will be clocked from 10 PM on Saturday to 6 AM on Monday, till January 9, 2022. Several route diversions have been put in place by the city traffic police department to allow an unhindered automobile movement during the closure, added reports. Check all alternate track here:

Newly launched e-buses to connect Lucknow to nearby rural areas from October 25

The fares for the e-buses will range from ₹5 for 3 km to ₹37 for more than 25 km

The newly launched electric buses in the city will ply on a new route, connecting Lucknow to the rural areas around, starting October 25.
