The Adani Group has announced plans to invest ₹6,000 crore in building two state-of-the-art, 1,000-bed multi-specialty hospitals and medical colleges in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The initiative, undertaken in partnership with the US-based Mayo Clinic, aims to provide world-class, affordable healthcare and medical education to people across all socio-economic backgrounds.
The two health campuses, named Adani Health Cities, will feature comprehensive medical facilities, including step-down and transitional care units, research centres, and medical colleges.

Each medical college will admit 150 undergraduate students annually, alongside training 80+ residents and 40+ fellows. The institutions will focus on clinical research, artificial intelligence in healthcare, and biomedical informatics.
The Mumbai campus will be located in Kandivali, making it the city’s largest private hospital. The Ahmedabad campus, similarly, will be one of Gujarat’s most advanced medical hubs.
Mayo Clinic will play a key role in guiding organizational strategies, clinical practices, and integrating technology to enhance healthcare quality. This collaboration is expected to significantly raise medical standards, particularly in complex disease care and medical innovation. With future plans to expand the Adani Health City model across multiple Indian cities, this initiative marks a milestone in the country’s healthcare landscape.
