Increase in female enrollment at Gujarat public universities this year
Data from the Gujarat Common Admission System (GCAS) indicates a significant shift in gender ratio for this year’s admissions to public universities. Out of 176,393 students who confirmed their enrollment by the end of the second admission round, 90,369 (51.23%) were girls, surpassing the 86,022 (48.76%) boys.
This change highlights an increasing inclination among girls in Gujarat towards higher education.
