Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport is set to welcome more air commuters, prompting authorities to enhance security measures. AMC has initiated a drive to curb the issue of public spitting and littering on city roads. On Monday, the Solid Waste Management Department caught 198 people from various areas across the city for spitting in public, imposing fines ranging from Rs. 50 to Rs. 500.

Flight cancellations from Ahmedabad to Srinagar due to heavy snowfall
Persistent heavy snowfall in Kashmir has disrupted air travel for the past three days, leading to delayed and canceled flights. Airport runways in Srinagar and Leh were closed due to the extreme weather conditions.
As a result, four flights from Srinagar to other cities and two from Leh to other cities were canceled. Today, further cancellations occurred, including an Indigo Airlines flight from Ahmedabad to Srinagar.
