Ahmedabad is all set to host Coldplay’s biggest ever concerts at Narendra Modi Stadium on the 25th and 26th of January. However, the lack of parking facilities within the stadium premises initially raised concerns among attendees. To address this, BookMyShow has partnered with ShowMyParking to provide designated parking slots near the venue.
Book slots via ShowMyParking app for ₹150 (two-wheelers) & ₹500 (four-wheelers)
Attendees can book their parking spaces via the ShowMyParking app, which also offers access to a complimentary ferry/shuttle service to drop them near the stadium. A total of 13 parking plots within a 300-metre to 2.5-kilometre radius of the venue have been designated for parking. These plots can accommodate up to 16,300 vehicles, catering to both two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
Parking slots must be booked online through the ShowMyParking app, allowing users to choose their preferred spot in six simple steps. The parking charges are ₹150 for two-wheelers and ₹500 for four-wheelers.
Additionally, organisers are encouraging attendees to use public transport, such as the Ahmedabad Metro, which has a station just 300 metres away from the venue, making it a convenient alternative.
Despite the steep pricing for tickets and parking, the excitement for the event remains undiminished. With the Narendra Modi Stadium, the world’s largest cricket stadium, set to host capacity crowds, Coldplay’s electrifying performances are expected to make this concert one of Ahmedabad’s most memorable events!
