Jasleen Royal is set to make history as the first Indian artist to open for Coldplay on their Music of the Spheres tour in India. The singer-composer will perform as the opening act in Mumbai on the 18th, 19th, and 21th of January, followed by shows in Ahmedabad on the 25th and 26th of January.
Ahead of the performances, Jasleen shared her exciting setlist on Instagram, featuring her chart-topping tracks like ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’, ‘Ranjha’, ‘Assi Sajna’, and ‘Love You Zindagi’. Teasing her followers, she left two slots blank, sparking fan excitement and prompting them to suggest songs they’d love to hear.
In her post, she captioned, “Any of your favorites missing?”, prompting fans to flood the comments with requests for songs like ‘Heeriye’ and ‘Din Shagna Da’.
Jasleen’s soulful voice and dynamic stage presence will set the tone for Coldplay’s iconic performance, which is expected to include hits like ‘Yellow’, ‘The Scientist’, and ‘Fix You’. This tour marks Coldplay’s second visit to India since their 2016 Global Citizen Festival performance.
