Igniting the spirit of International Yoga Day 2023, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, in collaboration with the State Government, orchestrated a Yoga event on the grounds of Riverfront in Paldi.
With the aim of spreading awareness about the practices and significance of Yoga, thousands of Amdavadis gathered at the Sabarmati riverfront, embracing various Asanas, including Surya Namaskar.
From the youngest children to senior citizens, a diverse array of people participated in the ‘Yogmaya Gujarat’ campaign. This year’s International Yoga Day resonated with the themes of ‘Ek Prithvi Ek Swasthya’ (One Earth, One Health), ‘Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (Yoga for the Unity of Humanity), and ‘Har Ghara na Angane Yoga’ (Yoga in Every Household).
Notably, people from all walks of life, engaged in these ancient practices here, fostering unity and inclusivity. Even the esteemed teachers from municipal schools joined in the celebration.
