Muharram 2024 | Check traffic advisory from Ahmedabad Police; Know routes to avoid on July 17

The Ahmedabad Police has issued a comprehensive traffic advisory for Tazia processions scheduled across the city on Wednesday, July 17, in observance of Muharram. Several routes will be closed for vehicular movements from 2 PM to 12 AM tomorrow. So, citizens are advised to plan their travel accordingly.

Road closures for 17th July

Tazia Committee Chairman confirmed that the procession will follow its traditional route, starting from Bhadra Plaza Marg to Bhadrakali temple, passing through the Telegraph Office to Old Advance Cinema. The whole route will be a “No Parking” zone as well.

2. Shahpur Darwaza to Mirzapur Chowk

3. Revadi Bazar to Relief Road to Bijli Ghar

4. Jamalpur Darwaza to Khamasa Char Rasta

5. Raikhad to Khamasa Char Rasta

6. Sarangpur Circle to Astodia Darwaza and Khamasa

7. Rupali Cinema to Nehru Bridge

8. Kama Hotel Circle to Khanpur Darwaza

9. Rakhiyal Char Road to Sarangpur Circle

10. Victoria Garden Char Road to Italian Bakery

11. Kharunala to Khasbazar

12. Raikhad Char Road to Mother Teresa Chowk

13. Jaswant Shop Factory to Rajnagar Market

14. Jalaram Mandir Kancha to Rajnagar Market

15. Municipal Kotha to Danapith Char Road

16. Khamasa Choki to Parsi Agiyari

17. Zilla Panchayat to Bhadra
