To cater to the extra passenger demand, Western Railway has announced the operation of a Superfast Special Train on special fare between Bandra Terminus and Ahmedabad Junction Railway Station (ADI) on the 24th and 25th of January. This decision comes in light of the high travel demand, particularly from those attending the Coldplay concert in Ahmedabad.
Train No. 09461 will depart Bandra Terminus on the 25th of January at 5:35 AM and arrive in Ahmedabad at 1:45 PM. Train No. 09462 will leave Ahmedabad on the 24th of January at 8:00 PM and reach Bandra Terminus at 4:20 AM the next day. These trains will halt at key stations including Borivali, Dahanu Road, Vapi, Valsad, Udhna, and Vadodara.
The special train will feature AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, and General Second Class coaches, providing an affordable option for passengers. Bookings for these trains opened on the 22nd of January at all PRS counters and via the IRCTC website. Passengers are advised to check the timings and make their reservations promptly to avoid inconvenience.
