In an attempt to enhance convenience for travelers and facilitate quick movement, Ahmedabad airport will now allow visitors to pay their parking fees using FASTag. The electronic toll collection system, which is functional in toll booths across the country, will now be put to use at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad.

According to an official release by Ahmedabad's SVPI airport, one FASTag lane has been designated on the entry and one on the exit. But it must be noted that if one uses the FASTag lane to enter the airport, they will have to use the same lane to exit the airport as well.

This decision by Ahmedabad airport authorities come after Mumbai, Kolkata and Pune airports, among others, had also enabled FASTag within the last year to ensure seamless parking for travelers.
