Archer Art Gallery stands as one of Ahmedabad’s most thriving art galleries, known for its role in promoting popular, modern and contemporary Indian art and fine art prints.

Established in 1978 by Anil Relia, a Fine Arts graduate with expertise in serigraphy, applied arts, and photography, the gallery began as a small atelier. Over the decades, it has grown into a hub for art enthusiasts and collectors offering a blend of tradition and modernity.

Archer gained prominence by collaborating with renowned designers and companies, producing high-quality screen prints. Encouraged by his close relationships with iconic artists such as M. F. Husain, Jogen Chowdhury, and Bhupen Khakhar, Relia pioneered the creation of limited-edition serigraphs in 1994. These fine art prints made works by celebrated artists like S. H. Raza, Manjit Bawa, and Thota Vaikuntam more accessible, fostering a new wave of art collectors.

In 2018, Archer moved into a state-of-the-art gallery, exhibition space. This modern venue showcases over 5,000 artworks and hosts regular exhibitions, featuring both renowned and emerging artists.

Under the leadership of Anil Relia’s son, Manan Relia, since 2010, Archer has embraced the digital era. Now one of India’s leading online art galleries, it caters to collectors worldwide, offerings works by promising talents alongside masters.
