Garvi Gujarat Tour: Gear up for an 8-day tour of scenic places via Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Train

A special Garvi Gujarat Tour train has officially been launched by Indian Railways, with an aim to explore the wilderness, lesser-explored arenas of Gujarat. IRCTC's Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train, will take up an enthralling 8-day tour with its fleet of passengers while it deems to cover a total distance of approximately 3,500 kms.

The Bharat Gaurav Deluxe is supposed to depart on February 28 from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station. Tourists can also board or deboard at Gurugram, Rewari, Ringas, Phullera and Ajmer Railway stations.

About the train

The tourist train comes with four first AC coaches, two second AC coaches, one well-equipped pantry car and two rail restaurants and has the capacity to accommodate 156 tourists onboard.

Some state-of-the-art features of the train encompass two fine dining restaurants, a modern kitchen, shower cubicles in coaches, sensor based washroom functions, and a foot massager. Moreover, it has CCTV cameras and security guards in each coach for enhanced security.

About the tour

Once onboard the enterprise, travellers will first take a stop at Kevadiya with the Statue of Unity as the main attraction here. Taking the travellers on a memorable journey, the tour will enable them to visit places including Champaner, Somnath, Dwarka, Nageshwar, Beyt Dwarka, Ahmedabad, Modhera and Patan.

The tour itinerary also engulfs, as per press release by the Railways, "Champaner archaeological park which is a UNESCO world heritage site, Adhlej Step Well, Akshardham Temple at Ahmedabad, Sabarmati Ashram, Modhera Sun Temple and the Rani ki Vao another UNESCO site at Patan."

“There will be a two night stay in the hotels, one each at Kevadiya and Ahmedabad respectively, while the visit of places at Somnath and Dwarka will be covered in the day halt at the destination," it added.

The well-planned tour starts at ₹51,285 and customers will also be able to avail EMI payment options here.
