IIM Ahmedabad tops QS International Trade Rankings 2025 | Highlights

Achieves 100% placement for PGP class of 2025.

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has secured the highest rank among Indian MBA and Master’s programmes in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) International Trade Rankings 2025. Released on the 12th of February, the rankings highlight IIMA’s significant improvement, jumping 23 spots from last year’s 65th position to 42nd globally.

Two other Indian institutions also featured in the list: Manav Rachna International University at 55th place and the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) at 63rd.

IIM-A records 100% placement of PGP class 2025

IIM Ahmedabad has successfully completed its final placement process for the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) Class of 2025, securing job offers for all students across 30 cohorts.

The placement drive commenced with the Lateral Placement Process, held between the 6th and 21st of January. This phase focused on students with prior work experience, offering them middle and senior management roles in industries such as technology, banking, finance, consulting, and analytics.

The final recruitment process, structured under the institute’s cluster-cohort system, witnessed participation from leading firms across diverse sectors. Boston Consulting Group (BCG) emerged as the top recruiter with 35 job offers, followed by Accenture Strategy with 30.

In investment banking, Goldman Sachs led with nine offers, while Avendus Capital extended seven. The general management sector saw Tata Administrative Services recruiting five students, and GMR Group hiring four. With another successful placement season, IIM Ahmedabad continues to reinforce its reputation as one of India’s premier business schools.
