While we are all planning to get our slots booked on an urgent basis, we must not forget that the immunisation centres can also turn into contagion hotspots, if proper precautions are not undertaken. So, here are the 5 things to keep in mind as you step out to get your immunity booster jab, that will prevent you from getting the virus back home!

In addition to all the aforesaid measures, there are two essential things to be followed in your pre and post-vaccination schedule. Firstly, take a complete meal before hitting the inoculation site for you will not be allowed to have anything in the 30-minute interval succeeding the administration of the jab. Secondly, discard all your clothes, take a bath and disinfect yourself completely once you return from the centre.
