In a significant move, Air India launched its first scheduled commercial flight of the Airbus A350-900. The aircraft, functioning from Bengaluru to Mumbai, also introduced Air India's brand-new livery.

"I boarded this new #A350 from @BLRAirport to Chennai. And the experience was surreal. Kudos to the @airindia," a passenger shared on X.

"The induction of the #A350 is a turning point in the transformation of AI as pax will now experience the world class product the new AI has to offer," wrote another Aviation expert on X, commenting on the new beginning for a revamped Air India.

Promising an enhanced travel experience, the public received the first glimpse of its distinct in-flight entertainment (IFE) system, among other amenities, when exhibited at the Wings India Global Aviation Summit in Hyderabad recently. Some of the features of Airbus A350-900 include a three-class cabin layout with 316 seats, cutting-edge Panasonic eX3 in-flight entertainment system, HD screens, elevated aircraft fuel efficiency, among other improvements - all in all, providing a superior flying experience.
