Starting March 27, all passenger scheduled flights from India to destinations abroad will operate without air-bubble arrangements. "Resumption of commercial international passengers services would imply reversion to bilaterally agreed capacity entitlements and termination of air bubble arrangments.", the circular detailed.

Notably, all regular air travel was first suspended in 2020 with the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic across the world. A partial revival of operations, including all domestic services in the country and a few international bio-bubble bound operations, were kickstarted later. The limited operations were slowly eased across, however, regular commercial flights faced restrictions.

The new order, notably, suppresses all limitations of the Civil Aviation order issued on November 26, 2021, to reopen air corridors without any restriction. Notably, all security and safety guidelines regarding the pandemic and otherwise will be strictly adhered to, for hiccup-free travel for all.
