Acknowledging the need for a permanent link between the Bypass societies of Indore to different parts of the city, the Atal Indore City Transport Services Limited (AICTSL) has introduced 4 new city buses, which will run on two routes during the morning and evening hours.

On which routes are the buses available?

Reportedly, buses on the first route will start from the Mhow Circle, providing connectivity to IT Park Square, Tejaji Nagar and Silver Springs Society.

On the other hand, buses on the second route will commence from Niranjanpur and provide connectivity to Radisson Square, Pipliyana Square and Sampat Hills Society. These buses were earlier operational on a trial basis. However, these have now been flagged off officially and are functional on their respective routes.

Referring to the move, Sudhanshu Dixit, a resident from the Mhow circle stated, "The availability of direct buses from our area was much required. With the introduction of the new buses, the commute to the main routes of Indore has eased significantly."

Furthermore, AICTSL plans add more buses to the routes in the next few months to provide every-hour availability for commuters.
