Air India Express, and AirAsia India are preparing for their eventual mergers, prior to which many changes in their ongoing network are visible. One such change was seen on March 31st, when Air India Express launched services on the Indore - Sharjah route. The first flight took off at 10:30 from Indore Airport, making it the 30th Indian station on the combined network of Air India Express and AirAsia India.

As per officials, the direct flight on Indore - Sharjah route will be operational thrice a week on Monday, Friday and Saturday. Meanwhile, the direct flight on Indore - Dubai route will be available only on Thursday.

Flight details of Indore - Sharjah flight are as follows: 

1. Sharjah to Indore (flight no. - IX 256)

   Departure time: 03:00 pm

   Arrival Time: 07:35 pm

2. Indore to Sharjah (flight no. - IX 255)

   Departure time: 10:30 am

   Arrival Time: 12:10 pm

Flight details of Indore - Dubai flight are as follows: 

1. Dubai to Indore (flight no. - IX 258)

   Departure time: 06:05 pm

   Arrival Time: 10:40 pm

2. Indore to Dubai (flight no. - IX 257)

   Departure time: 01:20 am

   Arrival Time: 02:55 am
