DAVV Indore to allow MBA, MCA students to write exams in Hindi

Jatin Shewaramani

With a motive to tackle the language barrier in the field of academics, the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) of Indore will allow its students pursuing professional courses to write exams in Hindi language.

To bolster the move, DAVV Indore will allow a choice of medium for professional courses with the availability of text material and syllabi in Hindi language. Additionally, the university exam papers for the upcoming session will include questions in both Hindi and English languages.

Additional strategies for adoption of Hindi language based curriculum

Prior to this, the course curriculum and exam papers were only available in English. However now, the university authorities are preparing more and more strategies to aid students who are not adept at understanding English.

Besides ensuring the availability of text material and exam papers, the university will also designate such evaluators who will be able to check answer books in both English and Hindi languages.

Previously, DAVV successfully managed to adopt a Hindi curriculum for medical and engineering courses. With the integration of a language-friendly curriculum for professional courses, the university will accelerate the academic growth for Hindi language scholars.
