With a motive to strengthen the transport network of the city and to provide a faster channel for commute, the Indore Development Authority (IDA) will start working on the construction of the Bhawarkuan Square flyover. The work on the flyover will only begin after IMC finishes developing a road at Teen Imli Square, which is likely to be completed in 15 days.

Presently, the tender for the construction of the flyover has been passed and the agency has started pre-construction work. Moreover, the architectural sketch for the project has also been approved by IIT, Indore.

Traffic diversions will be in place after the start of the construction

The completion of the road development work near the Teen Imli side is necessary before starting with the construction of the flyover as the road will act as an alternate route for commuters coming from Khandwa Road.

With this, the traffic will be diverted at the BRTS corridor in front of Holkar College and the bus stop at Bhawarkuan square will cleared for construction. Incidentally, the next stop for the iBus would be Rajiv Gandhi Square.
