The Kamla Nehru Prani Sangrahalaya in Indore has recently achieved another successful milestone by welcoming a new addition to its feline population.

Tigress Jamna birthed 3 cubs this past Sunday morning. According to Indore zoo officials, all 3 cubs are healthy and have inherited yellow fur. Furthermore, the nine-year-old tigress has given birth to cubs for the fourth time.

Newborn felines will be under the care of their mother

As per the zoo management, the zoo is currently home to 11 tigers and 9 lions. Given that it was a Sunday, a large number of visitors gathered to catch a glimpse of Jamna and her newly born cubs.

For now, the staff members and caretakers will refrain from approaching the cubs for a few days to prevent any risk of infections. The newborn felines will be under the care of their mother.

Along with this, the zoo team will regularly check on the health and development of the cubs. There's also a plan to potentially move the cubs to a different enclosure after a few months.
