Going to the zoo is often a fun experience for us but is it the same for the animals? Giving animals an environment as close as possible to their natural habitat, Indore Zoo authority is planning to raise the height of the roof at the aviary, so that the birds can fly higher. Along with this, plans are being chalked out to raise the mesh roof for lions' and monkeys' enclosure as well.

Recently, a tiger named Jamuna, leaped over the 15-feet-tall grille at Indore zoo for the second time. Members of the zoo committee took this as a cue to raise the height of the enclosures, and discussed the same with General Administration Department on June 13.
