As of now, 20.48 acres of land near Bijasen Tekri has been identified which will be acquired soon. Reportedly, the airport's expansion work will include the construction of a dedicated vehicle parking space and the provision of another exit gate for visitors.

As per the officials, the expansion work will be started within a month only after completing the construction of the remaining part of the Super Corridor connecting to Dhar Road. Reportedly, the Super Corridor extension road passes through the land dedicated for the airport expansion.
