A Metro station will soon be built just 200 metres away from Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport (Indore Airport). Putting the plan into action, issues between airport authority and metro administration were resolved and finalised through a meeting on March 1st. Metro station right next to the airport will reduce travel time for passengers and make journey for tourists and locals quite easy.

Indore Metro is a huge, under construction project. It is a mass rapid transit system (MRTS) being built to serve Indore, the most populous and largest city of Madhya Pradesh, by the Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Co. Ltd. (MPMRCL). Indore Metro’s Priority Corridor is expected to be completed by August 2024, while phase 1 is expected to be completed in 2027.
