Knocksense Shorts | Twin towers of upcoming Startup Park in Indore to run on solar power

Jatin Shewaramani

Contributing to Indore's mission to become the biggest solar city of India, it has been recently announced that the upcoming twin towers in phase-1 of the Startup Park project will operate entirely on solar-generated energy.

The Phase-1 of Startup Park is presently under development at Indore's Super Corridor, and according to reports, the Indore Development Authority is now finalizing the design of the upcoming twin tower project. The towers will comprise two identical buildings with 27 floors each and will feature a solar thermal facade that will generate electricity to power both structures.

The solar thermal facade is a highly beneficial and eco-friendly energy generation technology that uses solar energy to produce electricity by integrating solar collectors into the building's exterior facade. This design will enable the facade to capture and convert a considerable amount of sunlight into usable energy, which will then power both buildings in the Startup Park.
