Knocksense Shorts | Vande Metro to start soon, will connect Indore and Ujjain

Khushboo Ali

In a significant stride towards better regional connectivity, the Railway Minister has approved the Vande Metro Train operation between Indore and Ujjain.

Aimed at enhancing travel convenience, especially for tourists and students, the Vande Metro is designed for distances under 100 kilometers, resembling a compact version of the Vande Bharat Express. Operating 4-5 times a day with eight metro-style coaches, it offers a swift, world-class travel experience. The initiative gains importance with the upcoming Simhastha Celebration in 2028, where the Vande Metro is expected to ease traffic and play a pivotal role, contributing to the overall success of the grand event.
