Trial run of Indore's Toy Train kicks off today at Nehru Park

A Rajasthan based company has spent almost ₹60 lakh on putting it together.

With an aim to revive Indore’s Nehru Park as a major recreational site, Indore Smart City Development Limited is revamping the old garden. In March, 2022, authorities announced the return of the much-loved Toy Train here, the trial run for which is scheduled to take place now at Nehru Park between June 5 and 6, 2024.

As per Smart City officials, the electrically run toy train was brought from Jodhpur to Nehru Park, Indore on June 2 and a Rajasthan based company has spent almost ₹60 lakh putting it together.

Artificial beautification along the passage 

Toy trains are nothing short of an exciting experience for kids. With capacity for as many as 36 children (three coaches), this toy train promises a beautiful experience. For an ever enthralling experience, artificial tunnels and water sprays have been planned along the 700 meter long track route.

Once operational, passengers can book a ride in it at ₹50 only. So get ready to hop on one of these rails and embrace the fun times as they come!
