Saudi and UAE top importers of Agro products from the state

Saudi Arabia, UAE, and other Middle East countries have emerged as the top importers of agricultural and agro-processed products from Madhya Pradesh. Bangladesh, on the other hand, has taken the lead in importing textile products from the state. Incidentally, Australia, Japan and Europe are also importers of textile from here.

Notably, items under 38 ODOP categories are exported from Madhya Pradesh. However, this number is expected to increase with the addition of more districts under the sceme.
