India's first ever all women operated railway station in Jaipur propels further on the journey to revamp itself. North Western Railway (NWR) plans to redevelop Gandhinagar Railway Station in Jaipur, with world-class facilities at a budget of ₹177.45 crore by September 2025.

The project will encapsulate two new green buildings with an optimum energy consumption setup, combined with renewable energy resources like waste processing and rainwater harvesting machinery.

Up to date with latest facilities and technology

The new main entry station building will encompass all necessary facilities like departure lobby, vestibule, security check area with baggage scanner, a help-desk, departure hall, toilets, Railway Protection Force (RPF) room and a ticket collector’s office. Additionally, a 72 meter long air concourse will connect both the buildings above the platforms. It will also serve as a waiting area for passengers and help to transfer passengers from platforms by lifts and stairs.

Apart from the above, the renovated platform 1 will have an unreserved waiting room, executive waiting room, retail stalls, toilets, baby food room and arrival hall for passengers.
