People of Jaipur and Lucknow can heave a sigh of relief, as the union cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Thursday approved the proposal that would bring six airports including those in Lucknow, Jaipur, Guwahati, Ahmedabad, Tiruvananthapuram and Mangaluru under PPP (private-public-partnership).

This move came as a relief to the residents of these cities and the visitors who have had to deal with the inefficient system and the ruckus of the domestic airports.

The humongous success of the Delhi and Mumbai airports, that are already under the PPP model aided the decision. The Delhi and Mumbai airports are classified under world’s most efficient and smooth service providers that always leave the consumer satisfied. They’ve established their supremacy with their beautiful and classy architecture, easy to comprehend signs/signals and world class facilities, be it their extremely thought through selection of food or their uber luxurious and comfortable lounges.

This move, hence will not only create world-class airports in Jaipur, Lucknow and the other four cities, but will also generate more revenue for AAI (Airport Authority of India); creating jobs and bringing further economic development in the six cities.

This comes as a much needed dose of good news for the locals, as they will not only have better infrastructure and management for the airports, the national-international connectivity will make travelling less of a nightmare and bring in tons of opportunities along with tourists.
