IIT Kanpur's new biomedical research to bolster treatment of cancer and brain disorders

The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT-K) has achieved under breakthrough in research. The premier institutes' study of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) and chemokine receptor D6 has shed some crucial light on the treatment of brain disorders like Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Schizophrenia.

Research published in the prestigious 'Science' journal

This groundbreaking IIT-K biomedical research has already received due recognition with a spot in the prestigious international journal, 'Science'. Furthermore, this research is also a massive leap for the country in the field of innovative research in the Biomedical field.

It is noteworthy that this research was a collaborative effort. The IIT Kanpur team worked with researchers from across the globe to make this possible. These include experts from the Republic of Korea, Japan, Spain, and Switzerland.
