Prelude rounds run 27-28 October, leading into two days of the main festival at CSJMU Campus, Kanpur, organised by the School of Languages with Aatmoday Hobby Club and Students’ Council. The theme, “Bharat: Swabodh Se Vishwabodh”, moves from knowing yourself to understanding the world.

Four days, 75+ competitions and one campus that usually runs on caffeine and problem sets. Antaragni ‘26, IIT Kanpur’s annual cultural festival, is the week the engineers put the calculators down. Pro-nights, DJ wars, Ritambhara’s fashion show, Anime Con and the “Match” social feature all share the same lawn. Every deadline will wait.

Kanpur Leather Mela is the one place where “factory price” isn’t a tagline, it’s the address. The 7th edition lands with jackets, footwear, belts, wallets, handbags and accessories straight from the makers, alongside regional artisans and Allen Cooper. No showroom lighting, no markup maths, no salesman announcing it’s the last piece.
