This Tuesday, Amazon India announced the launch of a new delivery station in Ghaziabad. The station will be spread over an area of 22,000 square feet and is expected to generate diverse employment opportunities for people of various genders, backgrounds, ages and having different skill sets in the nearby areas.

The new delivery station will expand Amazon's last-mile delivery network in which the ordered products are collected from the sortation facilities and are delivered directly to the customers. With this new delivery station in UP, we can expect more such centers in other cities in the state.

Previously, Amazon India had also signed two MoUs with the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) of Uttar Pradesh and has rooted its presence in UP by opening around 160, Amazon-owned and partner delivery stations.
