Kanpur was chosen and ranked as one of the happiness cities by taking into account various measurable happiness factors like friendliest people, sunshine, life expectancy, cost of living, and weekly working hours. Here, Kanpur ranked 9th on the friendliest people category with 70.42 life expectancy and cost of living at 311.38. Surprisingly, Kanpur is the cheapest place to go of all the 40 happiest cities on the list.
