A stroll down Hazratganj was never the same with the metro barricades. Removal of these barricades promises a return of the halycon days. Ganj is the star in the eyes of Lucknowites and will soon be returned to its pristine glory after a 2 year long wait.

Work still left near Halwasiya.

The main road in Hazartganj market, which was dug up to accommodate the underground metro construction is finally open- just in time for Diwali, when the market will have hordes of visitors. This is a huge benefit as it has cleared the way for shoppers and makes the town more aesthetically pleasing to visitors tourists.

Lucknowites can once again enjoy Ganjing, without having to worry about traffic, congestion, parking etc. Whether it's is enjoying your chaat at Royal Cafe or shopping in Halwasiya or Janpath, everything is going to be hassle free just like in the good old days.

Lucknowites are nonetheless thankful to the metro corporation for their immense efforts at making the city better connected. This move brings Lucknow back to its old glory while helping it keep pace with the metropolitans all across the globe.
