Heading for IPL matches in Lucknow? You can now board metro trains till 12:30 AM

The IPL fever has gripped the City of Nawabs, and to make the evening matches easily accessible for the match-goers, UPMRC has now extended the Lucknow metro timings. A total of 4 evening IPL matches will be played in Lucknow, during these 4 days the metro services will remain open till 12:30 AM.

This move by UPMRC is set to make today's IPL match between the Lucknow Super Giants and Sun Risers Hyderabad, easy to reach for match-goers. Incidentally, the trains will run till 12:30 AM from both ends - CCS Airport and Munshipulia.

Feeder buses also to be made available from metro stations and stadium

The facility has now been enabled for easy and convenient transportation for spectators heading to the Bharat Ratna Shree Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium.

In addition, feeder buses have also been started by the corporation to provide seamless accessibility for the spectators. After de-boarding from metro, people will be able to avail the feeder bus service which will be made available from Indira Nagar Metro station. Feeder buses will also be available outside Ekana Stadium to drop spectators to metro stations after the match.

Apart from today's match, the extended metro timings will also be applicable on following matchdays:

  • April 15, 2023: Lucknow Super Giants vs Punjab Kings

  • May 1, 2023: Lucknow Super Giants vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

  • May 16, 2023: Lucknow Super Giants vs Mumbai Indians
