After proving the weather department's predictions wrong during the last week, rains have finally made their way to the city. Lucknow received a heavy downpour this morning, giving the residents a big relief from the humid weather.

While most of us like to enjoy the rains by heading out for a cup of chai at our favourite tea-spots in Lucknow or to our favourite spots like Marine Drive or Hazratganj, this year, it's not going to be the same. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 issue and the growing number of cases in the city, it is only advisable to stay indoors.
The rains have sure provided relief from the humid weather but the downpour had also became a hinderance for people traveling to work this morning and for all those who were setting out for their daily chores. Another major cause of concern during the rainy season is potholes and breeding of mosquitoes.
Potholes tend to become a big problem during the rainy season as they increase the risk of accidents. And going by the condition of the roads in Lucknow, we can only keep our fingers crossed.
This isn't the best time to visit a hospital, so it's only advisable to stay indoors and enjoy the rainy season this 2020.
