The app aims to address the concern of widespread disease in fishes, which results in huge losses for fish farmers.

In an attempt to help minimize losses caused by disease among fishes, ICAR-National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources (NBFGR) has launched an app for fish farmers in UP. The application, named Report Fish Disease, will work as a platform where farmers can upload pictures/videos of any fish rearing problems they're facing, such as disease.

The fish health experts on the app will then take a look at the problem faced by the farmer and issue quick and actionable advice to address it.

Report Fish Disease app is available on Play Store

The new app for fish farmers in UP is available for download on the Play Store. To make use of the application, farmers need to simply install it and register themselves, following necessary instructions.

The registration process is as simple as it gets. All one needs to do is sign up with a number, insert the received OTP, and they're good to go. Furthermore, all the information on the app is available in both Hindi and English.

Apart from uploading pictures and video of the problems they're facing, fish farmers can also give a short description of their case to give experts a deeper insight into the issue.

To get all the latest content, download our mobile application. Available for both iOS & Android devices.
