Ahead of the high-voltage IPL clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium today, the city police have issued a detailed traffic advisory to ease congestion. The restrictions will be in place from 3 PM to midnight. Commercial vehicles, including buses and trucks, will be diverted from key routes. Autos and e-rickshaws are completely banned on Shaheed Path for the day.
Vehicles from Sultanpur Road will be diverted from Amalut Tiraha.
Vehicles from Arjunganj Cantonment will be diverted from Katai Bridge.
Strict compliance required on Shaheed Path diversions.
Limited city buses will operate between Husadiya and Sushant Golf City on Shaheed Path (right side only).
Banned on Shaheed Path & service roads on match day.
From Arjunganj: Turn left at Ahimamau, drop passengers behind PHQ/UP-112/PGI, then proceed to Gomti Nagar.
From Sultanpur Road: Turn left, go towards Lulu Mall for drop-off.
NO pick-up/drop within 500m of Ahimamau.
No pick-up/drop on Shaheed Path between Husadiya & Sushant Golf City.
NO pick-up/drop within 500m of Ahimamau.
From Airport: Drop passengers before Ahimamau.
From Arjunganj: Turn left at Ahimamau, drop behind PHQ/UP-112, then proceed via G-20 intersection to Gomtinagar.
Avoid Shaheed Path if possible; use alternative routes
Normal traffic resumes post-match
