Private school bodies in UP have called for a strike, asking all private schools in the state to remain shut on Tuesday, i.e., August 8. The said appeal has come as a sign of protest against the arrest of a school principal and teacher in Azamgarh, in the case of alleged suicide by a student of Class XI.

It is noteworthy that the said strike has been called for all private schools that come under CBSE, ICSE, and UP boards. Students from private schools in the state are advised to check with their schools to get a clarification regarding the closure on Tuesday.
