Love, lattes, and live music

Lucknow, get ready to fall in love all over again because this month, Café I.R.A. Cakess byy Aprrajita is officially opening its doors. On February 21, the space will come alive with a Jamming Night and vibes so good you will want to stick around.

Cosy corners bathed in warm lighting, European-style arches, and the aroma of freshly baked delights set the mood for the season of love. Whether you are catching up with someone special or simply treating yourself, this café is shaping up to be a place where music, food, and romance go hand in hand.

A jamming night to mark the opening

In honour of the month of love, and to make you feel extra special, Café I.R.A.’s launch will also feature an evening of Jamming Night. The night will include live acoustic performances by Jay Bhandari, paired with interactive sing-alongs, where you are free to hum along, clap, and simply be in the moment. Add to this a grazing table, handcrafted beverages, and interiors that are effortlessly Instagram-worthy, and you have an evening that strikes all the right chords.

An aesthetic café that gets the basics right

Café I.R.A. is a café-cum-patisserie that understands the memo. Step inside and you are met with warm lighting, European-style arches, and a thoughtfully laid-out aisle of bakery delights. It is just as well suited to opening your laptop for a few focused hours as it is to catching up with an old friend, or simply savouring a quiet moment over a cup of something comforting.

What truly sets Café I.R.A. apart is its live kitchen, where everything is made fresh and completely eggless. From well-cooked meals to delicate bakes, you can watch your food come together in real time, with no smoke and mirrors.

The heart behind the brand: Aprrajita’s story

Every great café has a story, and Café I.R.A.’s is deeply personal. Aprrajita Hannda, the force behind the brand, has been baking for years, and her cakes are already something of a local legend. This café marks the realisation of a lifelong dream, shaped by love, loss, and quiet resilience.

After the passing of her mother, Aprrajita found comfort in baking. As her daughter Shraddha shared while speaking to Knocksense, it became a source of joy and stability during a difficult time.

Cooking has always been Aprrajita’s true calling. In Shraddha’s words, “She is the best cook in the world.” Café I.R.A. now stands as a heartfelt tribute to her mother’s dreams and a reminder that it is never too late to turn over a new leaf.

Knock Knock

All things considered, Café I.R.A. is a breath of fresh air for Lucknow’s café culture. If you are looking for a space that brings together artisanal food, thoughtful design, and a story that tugs at the heartstrings, this one is a no-brainer. Drop by and let the experience speak for itself. You might just find yourself going back for seconds.
