Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport has gained another boost while on its way to achieving operational 'net zero carbon emissions' by 2030. Thanks to its initiatives in a range of sustainable practices, like water conservation and focus on EVs, Lucknow airport has clinched the Green Lead Award 2023 for Environment Excellence.

Notably, Lucknow's CCSI Airport has been constantly getting upgrades like the brand new Terminal 3 and the ones on the sustainability front, like new EV charging facilities. As for the accolades, the airport was also named the 'Best Regional Airport' last year, thanks to the administration's efforts in boosting passengers convenience.
