As part of the winter schedule, Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA) is set to increase its daily flight operations from 108 to 134. Additionally, direct flights between Lucknow and Bangkok will resume from November 17, following a four-month suspension. The winter schedule will come into effect on October 25, with full implementation expected by November 1.
The direct flights between Lucknow and Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) will resume from November 17. The service will be operated by Thai AirAsia, with the flight scheduled to arrive in Lucknow at 10:35 PM and depart at 11:30 PM.
The route had been discontinued on June 5, leaving passengers without this direct flight option. Its resumption is expected to restore connectivity between the two destinations, subject to the airline’s operational schedule.
With winter approaching, CCSIA is also strengthening its preparedness to manage low visibility and dense fog, which can affect flight operations during the season. The airport recently conducted a Pre-Low Visibility Procedures (LVP) coordination meeting involving airline representatives, Air Traffic Control (ATC), the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and other stakeholders.
