831 new Coronavirus cases recorded in Lucknow. Total testing reaches 1.1 lakh mark!

A record rise in the number of new cases were observed in Lucknow as 831 fresh cases were reported on Tuesday. This large influx of new cases is pinned to the fact that the city excelled in conducting over 1.1 lakh Covid-19 tests! Around 413 recoveries were also recorded in the city, taking the total count to 7317.

Uttar Pradesh has conducted the highest number of tests in India. Till date more than 33 lakh tests were conducted in the state. More than 1 lakh tests were conducted in the state on Tuesday itself. This surge in testing capacities has improved the efficiency of identifying new cases in the state and Lucknow alike.

A record high of 831 fresh cases were reported in a single day in Lucknow. With these numbers, a total of 14,221 cases have been recorded in the city. However, a fall in recoveries and rise in the number of fatalities have added on to the worries of the district. With the medical staff and health care workers dealing with of 6743 active cases, there is absolutely no respite from the ever towering rise of infections.
