In a bid to facilitate passengers and to bolster connectivity between UP and Bihar cities, the Railway Ministry has now extended the operations of two popular trains - train number 14262/14261 and 14260/14259.

The Lucknow-Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction-Lucknow Ekatmata Express will reportedly now stop at five additional stations, including Gaya Junction in Bihar, in addition to its previous route that only went up to Mughalsarai city station (officially known as Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction).

The extended train route has been effective from April 27, as per the Railway Ministry's directive.

Here's the revised schedule for the train

It has been officially announced that the extended train service of Ekatmata Express trains, will now operate between Lucknow and Gaya. The train will make 4 halts between Pandit Deen Dayal Junction and Gaya, namely Bhabua Road, Sasaram Junction, Dehri On Sone and Anugrah Narayan Road.

Owing to the same, the Divisional Railway Minister, Northern Railway took on twitter stating "It is informed to the general public that the journey of train number 14259/14260/14261/14262 Lucknow-Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction-Lucknow Ekatmata Express has been extended up to Gaya Junction." while sharing the revised train schedule.
