Up for grabs at the Eat Right Millet Mela will be a slew of healthy and yummy millet-based dishes. The event will also host a walkathon that'll feature NCC cadets, PAC and home guards.

Lucknow restaurants have been asked to provide millet-based dishes

Apart from millet, this fair in Lucknow will feature food stalls of singhada, kuttu, ragi, jowar, kodo, sava and more. Furthermore, the administration has also asked restaurants in Lucknow to provide special dishes made of coarse grains to ensure visitors are encouraged to incorporate coarse grains in their diet.

It is noteworthy that the United Nations has declared 2023 the 'international year of millets' and as per recent reports, Indian restaurants overseas are also willing to add millet-based dishes in their menu.
