Lucknow News | Jankipuram Trauma Centre to now offer pathology services

Jatin Shewaramani

The Jankipuram Trauma Centre of Lucknow has partnered with Lokbandhu Government Hospital to offer pathology services. This collaboration comes as the Trauma Centre, inaugurated last year has limited medical facilities with basic infrastructure.

Both institutions have formalized this partnership through an official agreement. Under the terms, patient samples will be collected at the Jankipuram Trauma Centre and subsequently forwarded to Lokbandhu Hospital for testing.

The trauma centre is strategically positioned in the Jankipuram Extension area to expedite aid to accident victims from the nearby highways. With a daily footfall exceeding 200 patients, including accident cases, better medical facilities including in-house pathology services were much-needed here.
